Lord, give me compassion to see people’s needs and wisdom to respond with practical love and service. Help me listen without prejudice, lead without pride, and treat everyone with dignity. Amen.

Great leadership is not only about achieving targets, managing programmes, or exercising authority. It is also about understanding people and helping them succeed.

Jesus saw the needs of the people and responded with compassion. Likewise, effective leaders must learn to listen, understand challenges, encourage others, and provide practical support where possible.

Compassion does not mean abandoning discipline or accountability. It means exercising both with fairness, understanding, and genuine concern for people.

The best leaders combine strong principles with compassionate hearts.

People may forget your position, but they will remember how you treated them.

A wise leader asks:

• Have I listened before making a judgment?
• Do I understand the challenges my people face?
• How can I help someone grow today?
• Am I leading to serve or merely to be served?
