Bible Reading:
Psalm 145:14–21; Psalm 11:3
Devotional Thought
Some patterns repeat until someone intentionally confronts them through prayer, wisdom and obedience to God.
God is able to establish a new pattern in your life. Where there has been repeated failure, let there be progress. Where there has been disappointment, let there be restoration.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, every ungodly pattern working against Your purpose for my life, let it be broken. Give me grace to recognize destructive cycles and wisdom to walk in Your will. Establish a new pattern of righteousness, progress, favour and obedience in my life. Let my future not be controlled by the failures of my past. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
My past does not determine my future. I walk in God’s purpose for my life.
