Devotional Thought
Jesus acknowledged that following Him can sometimes create difficult relationships and opposition, even within families.
Our response must not be hatred or revenge. We respond with wisdom, prayer, boundaries where necessary, forgiveness and love, while remaining faithful to God.
Prayer
Father, bring peace and wisdom into every difficult family relationship. Protect me from destructive conflict and give me discernment in dealing with difficult situations. Heal broken relationships where possible and give me grace to respond with love without compromising Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
I walk in wisdom, peace and love. I will not be controlled by family conflict.
